Constitutions of St. Vincent’s Holdings CLG and St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group
26th June 2020
At its meeting on Thursday 25th June 2020, the Board of St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group decided, that in the interests of transparency and the public interest, to publish the constitutions for (a) St. Vincent’s Holdings CLG and (b) St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group DAC. Both constitutions can be viewed in full here: St. Vincent’s Holdings CLG Constitution and St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group Constitution
Following the completion of the outstanding procedural steps to transfer the entire shareholding of St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group, held currently by the Religious Sisters of Charity, to St. Vincents Holdings CLG these constitutions will be filed with the Companies Registration Office. These constitutions have received the required approvals from the Charities Regulator and The Revenue Commissioners.
In addition we also publish a letter of confirmation from our legal advisors, McCann Fitzgerald, in response to a query from the Department of Health, that the constitution of St. Vincent’s Holdings CLG is in accordance with the Irish Companies Acts and is subject to the laws of Ireland (as opposed to Canon Law).
The Board also noted the inclusion, in the proposed programme for Government, of the commitment to relocate NMH maternity services to the Elm Park campus.
