St. Vincent’s University Hospital Achieves First-in-Ireland EARL European Certification as a Centre of Excellence in Theranostics

St. Vincent’s University Hospital (SVUH) is proud to announce that its Molecular Imaging and Theranostics Centre, located within the Radiology Department, has received the prestigious EARL European Certification as a Centre of Excellence in Theranostics. This is the first certification of its kind in Ireland, underscoring the high standards of care and cutting-edge treatment provided to patients.

The Centre delivers advanced nuclear medicine imaging and therapies, including PRRT (Peptide Receptor Radiotherapy), RadioLigand therapy, and Nuclear Therapy, ensuring that patients receive world-class treatment at SVUH. This achievement reflects the exceptional expertise of the team led by Dr Nicola Hughes, Department Head of Molecular Imaging and Theranostics.
